Necessary Resistance started in late 2020 and launched in 2021. It is run by PA based activist, Annisa Amatul. The mission of Necessary Resistance is to bring awareness to social injustice and human rights. The main focuses are, Black Lives Matter, women's rights, LGBTQ+ rights, mental health awareness, interfaith relations, etc. This website will include updates within the movement, opinion post on topics, links to outreach information, and Lehigh Valley, PA, based social justice information.
The Mission
Necessary Resistance is dedicated to a few central causes which we believe are crucial in helping us achieve our goals. As a growing movement, we divide our time and efforts so that we can truly invest in each cause. Read on to learn more.
